Environmental and quality policy

Our vision

We strive to offer Sweden's widest range of Swedish wool yarn of the highest quality with as little impact on the environment as possible. By preserving and combining small-scale and traditional craftsmanship with modern sustainability principles, we want to contribute to a more sustainable world both for ourselves and for future generations.

Environmental policy

  • Local and sustainable origin All wool in our own yarns comes from Swedish animals raised under good animal welfare conditions. We visit all farms and prioritize farms that work with sustainable methods and care for animals, people and the environment.

  • Environmentally certified processing Our yarn is processed exclusively at Nordic spinning mills with an artisanal manufacturing process.
Purchased yarns come exclusively from suppliers certified according to GOTS, RAF (Responsible Animal Fibre), RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), which guarantees good animal husbandry, traceability and good working conditions.

  • Transport and packaging We minimize climate impact through few intermediaries and short transport distances, co-deliveries and recyclable or compostable packaging materials. As well as transport contracts and e-commerce transports that are Nordic Swan Ecolabeled.
  • Circular thinking Waste materials from production are used for other products, reused or recycled. We encourage our customers to reuse leftover yarn and offer tips on creative solutions.

Quality policy

  • Natural quality Our yarns are 100% natural, free of synthetic additives and produced with respect for people, animals and the environment.

  • Traceability and transparency Every skein of yarn can be traced back to the farm and spinning mill of origin. We are happy to share information about our suppliers and production methods.

  • Continuous improvement We actively work to improve our products and processes through customer feedback, quality checks and collaboration with textile and sustainability experts.

  • Customer focus We offer personalized service and strive to exceed customer expectations in terms of product quality, delivery and support.

Our promise

We believe in craftsmanship, tradition and authenticity. Through our work, we want to inspire conscious consumption choices and show that local collaboration, quality and creativity contribute to good health and a better environment.
