Boåsenkoftan is named after Boåsberget/Boåsvägen in Bofors, Karlskoga, where I grew up, born during the Second World War and raised during the Cold War. (A time that in many ways resembled the time we have now.) The conversations I listened to as a child were then, as now, about the importance of protecting and defending our society, freedom and democracy.

The cardigan is knitted in the round and from top to bottom and cut up afterwards. ( steekas)
